Galentines Day Celebrations

On February 14th, SRC celebrated a day of friendship, romance and everything in between! Galentine’s Day focused on celebrating our loved ones and those that mean the most to us. Whether it was a relative, a friend, or even a stranger, Galentine’s Day celebrates love in all its forms. In the lead up to Galentine’s Day, students were able to share their love with those around them by purchasing a beautiful rose, a Freddo Frog or even a sticky note where they could share heartwarming messages.

On the day of love itself, the Mac.Rob community appreciated love through a movie about the strength and power of family, Encanto; as well as enjoying musical performances on picnic rugs under the warm sun! These musical performances were such a delight as students were able to showcase their talent through songs about love and friendship, thus creating such a beautiful atmosphere for many others to have an unforgettable Galentine’s Day.

We would love to share a massive thank you to all our performers who brightened everyone’s day by creating a memorable Galentine’s Day. Your talent, courage and amazing acts were definitely one of the highlights of the day. A special thanks to: Lochana K, Jessamine L, Nishka K, Smera S, Ujjesha S, Teresa Y, Angel M, Charlotte McV, Diya N, Meenakshi D, Pragna U and Preethika V.

Galentine’s Day was a day filled with love, acknowledging love in all its shapes and sizes no matter how big or small. We are extremely grateful to everyone who was involved in celebrating this special day with us, and those in the planning process. We hope all of you made many memories this Galentine’s Day that you will cherish!
