Mac.Rob Foundation Reflection | 2024
At the Mac.Rob Foundation, our mission is to support the students of Mac.Robertson Girls’ High School to pursue their passions and their dreams. Through scholarships and bursaries, we aim to ensure every student has the opportunity to achieve their full potential, regardless of their financial circumstances.
This year has been particularly exciting for our grants program. Thanks to the remarkable generosity of Robyn Bradbury, we’ve expanded the Anna Bradbury Little Arts Scholarship to support four talented students pursuing their passions in music, drama, visual arts, and creative writing. Each recipient receives $1,500 to enhance their artistic journey, beautifully honouring Anna’s legacy while fostering creativity in our community.
We’re privileged to walk alongside students throughout their Mac.Rob years – from helping new Year 9s start their journey with confidence, to supporting our Year 12s as they step into tertiary education. Along the way, our merit-based scholarships and financial assistance bursaries enable students to make the most of their Mac.Rob experience.
Our online Portrait Gallery continues to celebrate outstanding Mac.Robbians, making the achievements of our remarkable alumnae accessible to all and inspiring future generations to dream big.
None of this would be possible without the generosity of our donor community. We are deeply grateful for your support.
I am also grateful for the support of our volunteer Board. In 2024 we welcomed some new members, Michelle Vuong as Treasurer and Eva Zileli as Board Member. They are both Mac.Rob alumnae who bring their finance and governance expertise to the Board. We also farewelled Jackie Cheuk, our former Treasurer. I’d like to thank Jackie for her 6 years of service and for her hard work and dedication to furthering the mission of the Foundation.
As Chair of the Mac.Rob Foundation, I congratulate all students for their dedication and achievements, and I thank all parents and guardians for allowing us to be part of your family’s Mac.Rob journey.
