Little Lessons Podcast: “Curious, Collaborative, and Passionate.”

We are excited to release the fourth episode of our podcast, Little Lessons. Little Lessons aims to provide parents, carers and family members with information and ideas about how to raise children who are resilient, independent and well, and how to partner with our educators at Mac.Rob to ensure that your child receives the best education possible for them.

This episode, “Curious, Collaborative, and Passionate”, features one of our Learning Specialists, Annette Rollinson. Annette is a highly experienced and expert teacher of Science and Psychology, and she talks in this episode about the importance of promoting student growth, rather than outcomes. Annette’s perspective is based in research and evidence, and she makes a very strong case for why a focus on growth is imperative for effective learning. We also provide parents with strategies for how a focus on growth can be achieved at home.

We have continued to provide parents and carers with information about how they can support their child’s wellbeing, through our Little Lessons videos and podcasts, which are available on the Wellbeing & Careers page of our Family Portal.

You can listen to the episode below, or subscribe to the Mac.Rob Podcast channel on SoundCloud for all the latest!
