Beca Mentoring Program

The Beca Mentoring Program, which has run throughout 2023, has come to an end! Our final session focused on Navigating University & Career Options, with a particular emphasis on achieving a healthy work/study/life balance.

We were incredibly fortunate to have a diverse group of graduates join us for this session, including individuals from Melbourne, interstate, and even some who pursued their studies in the United States. Each presenter delivered captivating presentations about their personal journeys, shedding light on different pathways and the current application processes. The students were engrossed in the discussions and actively participated by posing numerous thought-provoking questions.

To wrap up the program on a high note, we were honoured with the presence of all the previous session presenters, including Phil Card, the State Manager for Australia. Witnessing the dedication and commitment of everyone involved was truly heartening. As a token of our appreciation, the students were treated to a delightful evening tea in their lunchroom and received goodie bags

This event served as a fantastic way to conclude both the mentoring project and this term. It provided our students with invaluable insights and inspiration as they embark on their own journeys toward higher education and future careers.
