Australian Mathematics Competition 2021
All students in Years 9 and 10, together with a number of VCE students sat the Australian Mathematics Competition (AMC) this year. The AMC is the world’s largest Mathematics competition with over 500,000 students competing worldwide. The engaging and challenging competition demonstrates the importance and relevance of mathematics in students’ everyday lives. Mac.Rob has a tradition of outstanding results in the AMC and 2021 has been no exception.
Year 9 and 10 students who are in the top 3% of their year, and Year 11 and 12 students who are in the top 5% of their year, gain a High Distinction. Congratulations to the following students who achieved High Distinctions:
170 students also received distinctions in the AMC.
