Pallas Magazine | Term 1 Update

The shutters click, capturing the momentum of the Mac.Rob. Memories are frozen in time as they transpire - faces etched with beaming smiles, gesticulating hands in a flurry of activity. This is the role of Pallas Photographers as they work to ensure no event is unseen, no photo not taken, as they undertake more work than ever before (especially as a result of the recent implementation of the mobile phone ban in all State schools).

As Mac.Rob’s official school magazine, Pallas has been entrusted with encapsulating all the treasured moments of this year - in fact, majority of the photos in this newsletter are taken by our lovely team of photographers! From our beginnings as a newspaper a century ago to our current status as the yearbook, Pallas is a staple in every Mac.Rob household, serving as a timeless souvenir for generations to come, and the Editors are striving to ensure the same for 2023.

The newly restructured editorial team consists of Aditi P, Project Director; Aveline D’S, Content Director; and Jacelynn H, Creative Director. But that’s not all! We have a team of diligent students working tirelessly to create - from our enthusiastic photographers who began the job at the Swimming Carnival to our (almost finalised!) Committee who will perform more journalistic tasks.

At this stage in the year, we’ve begun tying in the bare bones of the magazine, and look forward to working with our team of Pallas Photographers and Committee.
