SRC Galentine’s Day 2022

Early into Term 1, the Mac.Rob Student Representative Council held their first major event for the year: Galentine’s Day. A day centred around emphasising the importance of friendship and unity within the school, Galentine’s Day was most certainly one to remember!

To strengthen the BONDS across the school, which is a part of SRC’s vision for 2022 (VIBES), students were encouraged to send sweet messages with even sweeter chocolates to each other. Each message also included a raffle ticket with the final draw occurring on February 14th. The lucky winners of the raffle were: Kasey, Diemmy, and Mr. Barwick! Moreover, SRC was also extremely proud to see teachers and students from across every single year level sending their appreciation to each other.

In addition to the exciting raffle and chocolates, music performances and a craft stall were run during lunchtime! SRC and the Music Captains would like to extend a massive thank you to the talented students that performed. We absolutely loved the small singing feature the school was treated to from Ms. Harrap. Also, the hearts made at the craft stall were a beautiful addition to the decorations on the overpass. SRC loved seeing everyone’s creative visions of love come to life!

Finally, SRC would like to thank every student who got involved on the day and showed love for Mac.Rob and each other! We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!

Looking forward to planning many more amazing SRC events in the future!

Gaatri & Jess, SRC Co-Presidents
